My artform begins with quiet foraging in nature.

 I’m lucky enough to live in Tallangatta, Victoria on the banks of the Hume Weir, a peaceful and picturesque place.

​

Inspiration comes in all forms,

a leaf or bud or seed pod,

a sound, a smell, a feeling.

​

Back in the studio foliage reveals itself and is then created into a piece that will capture its beauty.

It might be imprinted in clay and cast into a brooch or inked and printed into a collage, it may be placed under glass and exposed in a sun print or gently steamed onto silk to leave its impression on a wearable piece.

It’s a beautiful pastime and I am so happy to share it with you.
